Marc Gibber, MD, is a 2005-graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. His postgraduate training includes his internship (2005-2006), general surgery residency (2006-2008, 2009-2012), cardiothoracic research fellowship (2008-2009), and cardiothoracic surgery fellowship (2012-2014) served at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Gibber attained board certification in cardiothoracic surgery with the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Furthermore, he has been honored with the Joseph M. and Corinne Schwartz Research Grant and the Robert W. Buxton Prize at the Harry L. Sponseller Research Symposium. He is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the Cardiothoracic Surgery Network, and the Florida Medical Association. Before enrolling into medical school, Dr. Gibber completed his Bachelor of Talmudic Law degree at Ner Israel Rabinical College in Baltimore, MD, in 1999.
